Xzibit ft. U-N-I - So What - produced by D1 FREE DOWNLOAD

Post by GetDarker » Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:31 am

"Xzibit's "So What" featuring Inglewood, CA's U-N-I is the second release from Cashmere Agency Presents Mr. Grustle & Tha Russian's Dubstep LA: Embrace The Renaissance Vol. 1 Mixed By Plastician. Crafted by famed Dubstep producer D1, "So What," seamlessly blends Dubstep's heavy oscillating bass lines and dark syncopated sounds with the lineup's fierce lyricism.

Cashmere Agency Presents Mr. Grustle & Tha Russian's Dubstep LA: Embrace The Renaissance Vol. 1 Mixed By Plastician hits the net September 9 and features famed Dubstep producers Benga, 12th Planet and Caspa alongside hip-hop stars like Murs, Grouch and Eligh, Grand Puba, Ras Kass and Eve. It also features Snoop Dogg's Chase & Status produced "Snoop Dogg Millionaire" which recently leaked to the web."
The long awaited arrival of this free tune has finally come to an end! We are proud to exclusively bring you this tune from Cashmere Agency in LA to promote the release of the Dubstep LA mixtape next week, which will also be a free download!

Since the release of Snoop Dogg Millionaire on Chase & Status' Eastern Jam, there has been a healthy debate within the community about how Hip Hop and Dubstep blend together. It's still experimental at the moment, but it's nice to see some of the big players testing the water and giving away some of their output for free and giving our scene some exposure!

There is a mix tape to follow next week mixed by Plastician which will also be available for free. Let us know what you think of the tune...

must say that the sneak peeks i've heard are sounding the way this should've been to begin with... are there any tracks that were produced exclusively for this release though?

D1 re done the whole beat to support the vocals.

Didn't know it was this D1 tune, one of my favourites.

It's a lot better than Snoop Dogg Millionaire anyway.

The beat is sick, and Xzibit's verse is hard. I could do without the chorus, but that's my opinion on most hip-hop songs anyways...

its ok. the beat was already sick though, and hasn't been improved by a rubbish chorus and a few mediocre verses. i think my problem with this project is likely to be the quality of the rappers - somebody with cubase and some spare time could probably knock something better together with existing acapellas.
