Anyone got or used an M-Audio Xponent?

Thinking of getting one of these just wondered if anyone here has had any experience of them and want to hear your opinions and/or suggestions for something similar around the same price?

Im dumb, I probably should elaborate. I think the xponent is great, it does everything you need and personally I think the layout is great. Torq isnt a bad program either

Yeah Torq looks pretty good but it says you can always use it with Traktor or something else. From the videos I've seen and what I've read it looks like a really nice bit of kit and I like the look of the layout, and that little mouse traction pad on it

Mouse traction pad is alright, I dont use it much, but some times its useful to add an extra effect to a channel, if you really want to put 3 on. I think when I get tables and a mixer ill use traktor and have my xponent control the other 2 decks

ive had one for time now, still works great. they are pretty amazing for the price imo.. considering how much a cdj or vinyl/serato set up can cost

the unit is typical m-audio quality tho, kinda light, all plastic etc.. put for the price its expected heh

also traktor > torq

I have a numark omni control and I'm very happy with it. I've demo'd the xponent and it felt cheap. The jog wheels are nice and big, but the pitch sliders are insanely sensitive. There's next to zero resistance. But, maybe that's your thing. I didn't like it though.

The problem with all of the midi control dj devices is using the eq's and crossfader on them. Using the jog wheel and pitch sliders to mix are cool, but coming from traditional dj mixers to a software mixer is a horrible transition. I route the audio from each deck out to my dj mixer and use that to mix and the omni control to adjust pitch and match beats. It works well. Traktor and like are shitty for eq's and volume faders. I don't know if the xponent has multi outs or not. If the omni didn't, I would have returned it immediately.
