I am currently (for the last 18 months) listening to mainly stoner rock and doom metal. I will list a small cross section of what I am into otherwise we will be here for a while.

Fu Manchu, Baroness, Boris, Brant Bjork ant the Bro's, Corrosion of Conformity, Dixie Witch, Elder, Fatso Jetson, High on Fire, Kyuss, Melvins, Monster Magnet, Om, Orange Goblin, Sixty Watt Shaman, Sleep, Suplecs, Type O Negative, Weedeater, Eyehategod, Yawning Man, Electric Wizard etc

However listen to plenty of classic rock, death metal, black metal, grindcore, sludge, hardcore punk etc etc

I was a huge fan of metal/punk back in the day but today I just can't stand it anymore. the only exception is stoner/grunge/sludge/desert metal (Down, Hermano, Mastodon, Clutch) or artsy shit (Tool, Mars Volta)

My taste is fairly lame tbh

Metallica,
Pantera,
Trivium,
Megadeth,
Testament,
Kreator,
Raintime,
Iron Maiden,
Machine head,
Arch Enemy,
Lamb of God

Nothing really that original
