i like it produced at 140 but dj's who play faster or slower to fit the mood. wouldnt be too flash having a tune at 150 and u wanna chuck it in a 130 set u know

My sweet spot would have to be 136.

But I love 132 with wild drum signatures :P

I made a beat recently and was getting really into the groove of it and started adding some bass to it and then some FX. When i brought in some delay and synced it to 140 it all sounded wrong. I then realised that i hadn't changed Sonars default BPM setting which is at 110. The track sounded ok though and had some nice swing to it.

Yeah, i've been creeping down to around 136 myself, haven't tried 150 tbh.

Last two months has seen stuff down around 126 and up to 168. Get some very different ideas coming into your heard when you move away from you usual BPM.

MPC swing at around 100-110 makes girls strip down to thongs and shake their rumps without even thinking about it.

i rarely like stuff of the 'dubstep' ilk that's @ 150. little too fistpump for me. you want aggy music, listen to punk.

w/ that said there's a ton of lover's rock reggae around there... more like 75bpm.
