Post by stoppauseplay » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:51 am

Hello!

I'm in the process of putting together a mix of reggae style dubstep and need some recommendations because im running thin on ideas...

I'm talking tracks to the tune of...

Rusko - Soundboy is my target
Uncle Sam - Up in the VIP
Uncle Sam & Tes La Rok - Round the world girls

know what i mean? all help massively appreciated!

Stagga has plenty of reggae influenced Dubstep. Policeman get Hype and Jacqueline on Rudeez are heavy examples or there's Rocking Down The House and Science Of Skank on this http://chromekids.blogspot.com/2009/07/ ... in-ep.html.

There's also a great Niney The Observor remix from Wascal up here http://chromekids.blogspot.com/2009/09/ ... ublic.html

Jump by 16 Bit and the B Rich remix of Raffertie's Antisocial are two tougher reggae tinted tracks that are favourites of mine.

Curtamos' version of Kingston Town and Walk N Skank are both huge as well.. not sure if the Kingston Town mix is about yet but there are others by Bassnectar and someone else whose name escapes me about. Also the Widdler remix of Come Around that was wrongly credited to us on Mary Anne Hobbs is dope too (you can get it on the blog which is where the confusion came in, have to find that one yourself though).
