which DAW, VST etc
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

That doesn't really help.

A DAW is what program you are making beats on.

A VST is the instrument you are using to create the sound.

Without an A/B of what it was like we can't really give suggestions on what happened apart from things like double check you havn't accidentally changed the filter cutoff or anything like that.
Out Now:
DD005 - Retrospect
MRS029 - Connected/Lovin' You
DAR010 - Santogold - Shove It (remix) 12"
SET003 - Bob Marley - Is This Love (remix) 12"
Echodub Loves Volume 2 - White Room
FTW Records Digital - Panic Room
FTW Free Compilation - Get Up (a.k.a Symphony)

if your using massive w/ logic it's known for dropping macro lfo and env associations. double check that didn't happen, and always save your patches once you have them tweaked how you like. (In massive's patch format, not logic's channel strip settings or instrument settings).

check that the hertz meter hasnt interfered with the volume phase. sometimes the audio engine will auto-route the harmonic parameters into a LFO bypass system. i hate it when this happens

"Save As..." to save your arse.

Every change you make save it as *name of song* 1/2/3 etc etc

Saved me loads of times.

Thats if it's that kind of issue, if its like hardware related quite frankly I wouldn't have a clue. :i:

Yea I usually reach 15 saves, I usually export most of my bass/drum/synth ideas into folders so if the tune turns out shit I can always transfer them onto another project.

I just do it without thinking now.
