Re: what's the longest time..
I never get around to cleaning things up. Once I export to audio I usually never turn back. I'm so lazythierry_le_dj wrote:gnome wrote:Maybe not a studio. More like my bedroom. But 5hours! Felt good. Went back to the song next day...it sounded like arse lol

Re: what's the longest time..
12 hours, there is a difference thought between sat in front of your computer for 12 hours and doing actual studio work (setting up mics, instruments, blackline) for 12 hours
Re: what's the longest time..
10 hrs if I do a marathon. then another day or so listening to the finished produced quite a bit to see if I like it.

Re: what's the longest time..
so some of yall actually go to big boy studios?
Re: what's the longest time..
60+ hours.
I'm not gonna lie - it was not a pretty site by the end... but the worst part was, I couldn't even go to bed after those 60+ hours, I had to take a final in Recording (various dB calculations, mic polar patterns, etc) immediately afterwards.
Nothing like taking a major exam while rabidly hallucinating from sleep deprivation.

Re: what's the longest time..
After 5 I can't tell whats what...
Hours 6-8 are spent pushing faders back and forth, doing and redoing, checking and unchecking, revert to, save as, revert to, save as, add infinitum... until finally its 2am and the formerly almost-ok tune is now mashed to pieces
