I'd ask if he had a spare copy of the South London Boroughs EP and the Ghost hardware EP he could sell me after just generally chatting to him and introducing myself in an ideal world.

In reality I'd apologize and pretend I didn't know it was him.

yea. it's a pretty hypothetical situation. some famous people I've met I could just chat to normally. Goldie came up to me once and was like "arrrggghhh thut fuck'n sound was balls mate." he kept on going on about it and I had to interrupt him..i was something like "LOOK! GOLDIE! I'm not the promoter.. " he just gave me a funny look and said something I couldn't understand. He gave me a metalheadz sticker and shook my hand.

does Goldie speak Welsh or something?

ohh yea... and MC Conrad tried to convince my first wife to name our kid "Conrad". LTJ Bukem thought that shit was funny. They just chat like normal people. They are normal people for the most part. It's the fans and the scene that make them seem so "other worldly"

but granted... guys like Burial and RDJ, even if they weren't famous, I'd still me mesmerized meeting because of the impact their art has made on me. DJ Craze kinda had me dumbfounded on words when I met him.

I'd swap his lettuice for a cabbage, then hope he goes away and writes a tune based on his experience of getting home to find out hes got two cabbages and cant make the salad he wanted for dinner.

that's completely untrue...

people abuse animals in those places, I'd be haunted by how much they hurt me
