Has the ugliest cover art ever known to man.
I mean, didn't anyone think when they first saw this that it was a half-loaded image? Like back in the 56k days?
Anyways, tunes are awesome, as always. but that cover....

I laughed out loud to this one. So true, you'd think with such a KILLLLLLLLLER record they would have the art to match it. Should have got the guys at Ramp to do it!

agreed, Ikonika's 12" artwork is sick though and Aidy's girl artwork looks sick too.

That King Midas EP cover suits the music perfectly, I reckon.
The 5 LP contains great great, music within it's grooves though. No doubt.

A crap sleeve doesn't take anything away from a good tune but a great sleeve adds loads I think.

Obviously the music is the most important thing, but I do like it if a record has good artwork. If someone comes up with imagery and design that fits the music I think it adds to my appreciation for the package. If a record has awful artwork then I think it may even influence what I think of the music if I am just picking up / recommended a record in a shop and I don't know the artists or the tunes. I also wonder why a lot of labels bother paying out for artwork to be printed when it's crap... But then it's all subjective.
In this case the art doesn't do anything for me, but I don't think it's terrible.

haha, come on Nick it's nice to have a good cover. But yes, I have countless incredible records that just have text on the white label.

You gotta have good artwork, it's important
I really like this artwork tho, dont see what the fuss is all about
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

So do I! In fact, I really like it. Lots of little details and stuff in there. There are some alternate views of the art on the designer's
flickr page.

I didn't think it was that bad,
I wouldn't hang it on my wall as a piece of art, but it surely draws attention on a record store wall and it fits the format of a record sleeve aswell in my opinion

Cover is OK but the tunes are mad! Hyperdub is the biggest label right now IMO
