harmison right now = :u:

i don't even know what to say in our defence right now, except that glenn mcgrath was predicting 5-0 before the last ashes series, we were similarly crap in the first test, and you know what happened next...

he's got to get monty panesar in there, got to...

We are not going to win with Giles wo we might as well gamble with monty and who knows he might get five wickets.

Harmy is worrying tho.

yeah playing giles was DUMB! he hasn't played for a year and in the meantime Panesar came in and looked proper tasty.. so how does giles just walk back into the team??

Harmy needs to fix up badly :?

anyway i can see pietersen keeping it ticking over until tea on the 5th day and then going for the win if we've got a couple of wickets in hand...

A very average side with false pretences. It does show that the last Ashes victory was an anomaly.

nah not tru - last time round we had jones and vaughan, plus flintoff not pressured with captaincy. if anything aus are all about warne & gilchrist, plus i suppose ponting - if they don't play well then aus don't. same ways with eng and harmison, flintoff etc.

but pls PLS get monty in 4 nex test. might as well init

geraint jones? Average at best.

Vaughn - decent bat.

Flintoff - such a puss excuse - pressures of captaincy....

how come u never see ponting or dravid crying about being captain...

aussie batting runs deep....if the fastest bowler in the world is a decent enuff bat with an ave of around 28-30 that tells u something...

totally wrong selection from england...it looks too like a 1 day side...

strauss has to fire...the other opener looks decent....bell can bat he's looking good...KP is a don...

but aussies will crush england....

simon jones init. allow geraint.

don't see ponting crying, jus being a bad-losing idiot when it doesn't go his way. plus he's got nuff experience as captain - not something that flintoff really has, plus freddie is eng's main man, really. big pressure.

but agreed, yes, aus will crush us. hitting things and running. it's the perfect game for the criminal mentality :o
