been thinking of posting this on the net since I first heard the Furney tune at work. Anyone recognise the sample source? I've always wondered whether Furney lifted the chords/sample from Toasty, or whether they all come from the same original source.
Furney - This Is Real -

Toasty - Skinny -

for the record, I don't want this to turn into a 'OMG some dnb producer ripped off Toasty' thread - I'm just interested to know if anyone knows the facts.
Toasty for president.

Sounds like Furney took em from toasty, they are clean at 4:30 and used in same pitch and key, u can also hear the crackle off them on furney's tune which means they prob came off a vinyl rip...

Hmmm... Interesting....
It sounds like the whole sample is timeshrunk/warped in Ableton, it's got that stuttered effect, which points to the logical conclusion. I know where Toasty got the vocal samples from, it's a stand up comedian, hence the laughter etc in the background, and Toasty is a sick sample digging fiend, so I'm pretty sure no one would find the EXACT same samples that he used in Skinny. I'm sure Hospital (Edit: 31 Recs) would be having words if someone ripped a track and slung some wobble on it.
Will be looking into this.........
