it's holiday time. that's why we're getting rammed with these pricks. they have to get their monthly link quotas. same thing happened last year to the forumsplace site.

Give them their own forum section:

Spam
Post your bizarre 'search optimising' nonsense here.

And then de-index that section from google

Is there a Pharms/ViAGrha/HotSexGirls/SearchOptimiser forum somewhere that we can go and spam-up with Dubstep related posts?

Delisting from google isn't going to work it's almost certainly something like a auto-post bot that has a database of message boards. Helpfully a spammer posted about one of them on a board that I'm a mod on. I can't remember what options phpbb mods have regarding blocking emails but if you want I can give you a list of emails that one of the admins has blocked, and it seems to have helped today, probably in pm would be best.

there don't seem to be any spam posts moved to the trash today since the blacklist was introduced..

really i think the swiftest solution would be to establish a policy of always having any websites these spammers linkto suddenly become defunct.

also, at gravious, i wouldnt be surprised if there was such a forum. Imagine how convenient it would be for these spamorrist pirate fellows to have a convenient way to contact whatever slothlike persons are eager to be scammed in a clearly defined web-space.

all in all, tho, i love being able to renew my viagra prescription, get tons of free money for filling surveys, and date local females wtih aforementioned money and viagra, all from the convenience of my webbrowser.

here i have made a graphic to illustrate the proposed policy:
