Really like the bass, but the beat is a little too sparse for my taste. Halfstep like this needs the skippy highhats (or similar) to carry the momentum. Obviously that's a generalisation, and I'm all for doing something a little different, I just think this tune is little ploddy with such mininal drums.

Uh, not sure if you were really looking for constructive critism, if not then just ignore me. I'll definately play it, be much less of an issue in the mix. The second drop is big enough to carry it through.

i hear what you're saying 4line, having heard it in a few mixes now i actually had very similar thoughts about the first part myself.
comments like this really help, sometimes it's hard to hear stuff subjectively when you're knee deep inside a track and like i said, i rate the opinions on this forum so feel free to criticise or make suggestions, it all helps.
