These things are good but there have been loads of them. I used to use Blackle. Problem is that none of them have the same functionality as google, and aren't as universally user friendly. It doesn't have the image, video etc searches, or the UK tick box.

Google should just set precedent with this whole business and switch their own lights off.

yes. google pls enable changing the screen colour to black

also, is there a way to browse this forum with a black background?

Mac users can hit ctrl+option+cmd+8 to invert colors. I guess that works.
