Nice decklyn, you been making some good tracks recently, i like this one too. am liking the riff in the intro, with a good choice of sound selection, deep and soulful song. and then the sub bass fill its all up man! Maybe the riff needs abit more variation tho, keep the flow going of the track?

Nice one
Well done

Btw i started following you on sound cloud :)
A brand new song!

Nitz that tune in your sig is mental.
Will trade 320s!
BTW yeah I hear you 100% about the variation.
It's hard with stems and I'm usually very progressive when I write, but I also kindof think that the repetition and development of the track is an expression of simplicity and I like that it says that. To me I want it to speak that simple "it's okay and you know what's going on" kind of feel. Now that I'm thinking about it I may revisit this though... I can keep the simplicity and still have variation and interest.

edit: yeah you're totally right. I'm not going to lie I was really bent when I wrote this one :-P
I'm taking a hacksaw to the melody. Expect a more interesting version soon!

Thanks!

:-)

Thankyou so much for the feedback though. I take it with open palms and it really does mean a lot that you took a moment of your time to reply so thank you again :-)

Cheers Decklyn (Y)
Yeah for sure, i will send you a PM after this.
I hear what your saying about stems, they are usually hard to work with, as i can see your like me i like to make things very progressive, so when to idea of stems comes about its a pull down. I think it stops you creative flow and ideas because what can you do to a stem to add variation
1. Change the key
2. Chop up the notes(mix and match)
And really thats about it. I would prepose it solve the problem is to contract Bop and say listen here is a remix i have done but i feel that it needs more varitiont and the problem arises from me only using stems. So is it possible for you to give me the midi file for that certain riff? and and i will keep in touch with you about hows its going. Now this would be extremly easy if you actually know him..! If not play the riff your self its not that hard.

Yeah there a good saying that some of the best tracks are simple as simplicity.
Looking forwards to ViP/Remix what ever you wise to call it (Y)

No problem, i always say if there a good song/artist be assured that you will hear from me! and not just your random 320 comment, its constructive feedback. For example i still have your Lion Heart song and listen to it, in fact i listened to yesterday while i was doing some work, and dam st8 thats a great song!

Peace !
Take it easy

Nitz

Sound cloud was a big leap for me too.
I'm glad I started using it though. It makes it a lot easier to share tunes.
I just bought a membership though. I'm writing more than 5 tunes a month so I need to be able to post that shit up there.
