BTW, the game is freeware for all those not in the know. Grab it here:

There's a torrent with an OS X port (and a bunch of other old DOS games) floating around the 'net.

I just downloaded that C&C: First Decade thing. Like 10 of the games on a single DVD. Had to arse about to get shit running on vista (compatibility mode and whatnot), but it was worth it.

What crappy later ones? C&C 3 kicks ass and I've heard just as good things about RA3.

Nah, they started splitting the missions up with videos of really bad American actors doing really bad Russian accents.

Original DOS ting. I remember getting to run on windows 98 and witnessing the full power of the game in a resolution higher than 640x480 :D

Well obviously after formats etc, but honestly i've had it installed since it came out. Me and friends still play it.

The newer ones are pretty cool, not quite the same feel, but they are fun. Red Alert 2 was ok, C&C3 Tiberium Wars is the last one I played I think. I like that one a lot.

Who remembers Nurple maps?!
