I got Sennheiser HD 202s for 25€
They're probably not best for producing but if you need budget headphones for DJing I would recommend those.

yoea u need different phones for each job
yea for producing u need precise, flat neutral sound etc
for DJing you jus need tuff n loud

i got a pair of AKG K 240 Studios aswell... £64 inc delivery from america ..(exchange rate is heavy at moment :D)

yea ppl say sennheiser hd580 or 600 are best for producing, but they alot more expensive n prob need a headphone amp to power them

Yeah, I have been using the HD25 for producing and been wondering, is it too bassy, you reckon? Maybe because it crushes your ears? :)

For djing, I think it's great.

Sony MDR-V700DJ are great for under $100. I think they retail for around $79.99.

sony 7506's go for like $99... really dig 'em for DJing and recording when i'm playing drums, but they sound a bit tooooo nice for producing... work on a mix on them and you think your kick and subs are banging, but you listen back on speakers and they're flabby and messy.

I was going to suggest those but I thought they were discontinued. Good call!

pay the extra 20 quid to get the hd 25 s deapoh, there really is no other choice, ive had the same set for over ten years now and they are still going strong, even when some tit who shall remain nameless left them on the road in the snow for a couple of hours when borrowing them!
every part is replaceable with them as well.....
and you can get velour covers for them......

ight, to the above - Behringer is Not a good make- it's cheap, has been known to fall apart, and is DEFinatly not the same quality as Sennheiser
- if u're serious about buyin some headphones for production+dj'n- spend a bit of cash- drop $200 on some Senn's or AKG's and u'll hear the difference
