Nope, don't know what you mean.

I predict a four page thread though.

Believe it or not, not everyone loves constant heavy stuff. There's a thing called variety and it's often claimed to be the spice of life. look it up.

Last time I checked, dubstep was not just hyper aggressive ting.

Some people like "dubstep" parties full of sweaty men skanking like tards to midrange agressive shit.

Others like dance nights with music lovers, varied music and deep stuff original enough that you can tell the difference between different producers.

It's called taste...

I've heard Burial played at nights and its been sick. Theres a lot of weight in those tracks, especially the first album. There is a more clubby remix of Archangel thats been done (Boy 8Bit I think) if you really can't hack it. Its OK as remixes go but personally, i think that its lost its feeling and the skippiness fom the unquantised drum patterns went as well (which is one of my favourite aspects of Burials tunes). Still, heard it played out and people seemed tobe feeling it.

Still waiting to hear Burials remix of 'Where Is Home' played out cos its amazing. :D

Sounds like a really cheesy cliched and loads of people on this forum have said it before me but sets (and mixes) are supposed to be a bit of a journey, with high, frenetic points like dropping in Baking Bread by Bar 9 or some Reso or Distance and then some mor calmers moments where producers like Indigo, Synkro, Joy Orbison etc would fit in. More varied sets as so much more engaging than 90 minutes of hellishness. I saw Bar 9 & Stenchman at Penguin Dance and even their sets weren't totally brutal from start to finish.

see if someone played nothing but bar9 and 16bit on a night then i'd probably end up bored within half an hour. hows there gonna be any sense of build up or any attenuated points OR ANY DECENT DANCING if it's just sweaty knobheads shoving you around to a soundtrack of abysmally heavy, soulless tracks? :(

plus the only girls that dance to stuff like 16bit are the kind of girls that would give you a kickin' if you spilt their pint, knowmean?

i heard ramadanman play distant lights at fwd and it was awesome, his tracks are really weighty on a proper system.
kode9 used to drop arachangel relatively regularly as well, would love to hear that
