Gorillaz Appreciation

Post by collige » Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:55 pm

I was listening to their first album the other day, and man, this shit good. The remixes kick ass too.

yes, all the Gorillaz stuff is sick. The G sides and D sides are both sick as well as the albums.

absolutely. both albums (especially the first) are MUCH deeper than lot of people pass them off to be. Damon Albarns songwriting skills are something i very much envy. the chords and melodies he uses are something i would never come up with myself, yet its exactly what i want to hear.

even this demo is amazing in my opinion, love it. realy hope it makes the next album and dosnt change too much.

yeah i spent a couple hours the other day breaking it down/making my own clone in Acid, hoping a bit of the knowledge of chords/keys/melodies/second melodies would stick with me. the stuff he/they make is the stuff i wish i did.
