I spot the first one
"and one of the best things about dubstep is there is no formula"
and
"not too much midrange bass frequencies"
PS dj Youngsta sounds a little arrogant saying "blatantly the biggest tune in the scene" even though he's correct. but dont worry I haven't got hate for youngsta, it just sounded a bit arrogant that's all.

How can it be arrogant? It's not even it's tune.kp mike wrote:PS dj Youngsta sounds a little arrogant saying "blatantly the biggest tune in the scene" even though he's correct. but dont worry I haven't got hate for youngsta, it just sounded a bit arrogant that's all.
RIP our favourite dish cloth.
Re: this doc' is now 3 years old. spot the flaws
well no it's not to do with the tune or skream. just him, he's just trying to sound big like he knows every single tune released in the world. and when he goes 'tearing up the scene', he just sounds silly like he's doing a parody of the 'jungling guy' scene in Human traffic.USTD wrote:How can it be arrogant? That's not a flaw with the doc, that's a flaw with large parts of dubstep in 2009.kp mike wrote: I spot the first one "and one of the best things about dubstep is there is no formula"

Missing the times when it was just beats and bass.. (there is still some left tho)

I spotted one:
"3 years old"
Time allows everything and every genre to develope and a result of cultural evolution is no different as mankind evolves.

...but...but..but... youngsta does know every tune in the dubstep world. if i was youngsta i would be well arrogant, so arrogant id probably take my hat off to reveal a full afro. thats how good youngsta is. but yeah cool documentary.
(basically my point is youngsta doesnt sound arrogant, he sounds like a guy who is proud he helped pioneer a sound into a blossoming tree of bassy goodnessssss)
Re: this doc' is now 3 years old. spot the flaws
I watched that documentory about 2 years ago, then rewatched it recently: never thought youngsta came across as arrogant, the guy just knows his tunes.

Re: this doc' is now 3 years old. spot the flaws
You clearly don't know how it works around here, you have an opinion that differs slighty from what most other people think. That makes you a hater and/or elitist.kp mike wrote:damn is NO one on the same mindset as me?
From now on just make sure you never EVER post an opinion, they don't like that on this board.

Re: this doc' is now 3 years old. spot the flaws
Well youngssta works in a record shop so... erm he would know what was the biggest tune, cos he would see loads of people coming in and saying "Yo, you got that Midnight Request Line track on Tempa, bro?" and at the time I bet BM Soho stocked pretty much every released Dubstep tune. And come on it's not gonna be the biggest tune in the scene if there is no vinyl release!

Just saw the movie Seven Samurai for the first time a few months ago. Gave 9 Samurai a whole new perspective to me. Such a sick tuneSharmaji wrote:how tuff do "the goat stare" and "9 samurai" sound? Eternally fresh and forward.
