Automation in Cubase 5??
I'm pretty new to producing so apologies for asking something that is probably really simple. I'm using Cubase 5 with Massive as my synth and want to automate the speed of the LFO thats controling my 'wobbble', it seems to let me until I click tempo sync, and i want it in time with the music, anybody know how to solve this?? I've tryed making multiple tracks using the tempo variations but there's an audible difference to using automation!! Any help would be appreciated, Cheers guys.
Re: Automation in Cubase 5??
did you right click and select "show all used automation" on the VSTi channel?
you can still just click "W" and then while the track is playing... change the LFO rate (even in tempo sync mode) and then go back and find the changed automation

Re: Automation in Cubase 5??
Cheers dude hadn't thought about doing it that way . Only problem with that is massive's tempo sync is pretty awkward, is there anyway to manually input a change at certain points in the track?? Also thinking of getting midi controller as am only using laptop atm, can you write in automation using parameter knobs on a controller?
