Headphones

Post by s i c k b o y » Wed Dec 02, 2009 10:01 pm

Hallo
Need some new headphones, for DJing and producing. They have to be cheap as fuck and good as fuck (mainly for DJ mixing, I won't be doing any producing mixing with them, just using them to get ideas down sometimes on my laptop). Does anyone have any ideas for cheap as fuck an good as fuck at the same time?

Cheap but good for fuck all:)

You wont be able to hear shit on these headphones playing in a club. I would rather use two sea shells on a piece of string to produce music on instead of those headphones.

If all you have is a tenner I would suggest writing a letter to Santa Claus.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Would you actually rather use two shells and a piece of string? Cos if that works for you then i might try it, I can get two shells and some string for a bargain

I was thinking more along these lines

maybe they will be a bit better than the ones for a tenner? I dunno.
And I already emailed santa and he told me to get AKGs but I can't afford...

If you want cheap as fuck just go to a pawn shop, good as fuck will cost you at least 5 x the amount of a cheap as fuck. But you never know there might be a good as fuck for cheap as fuck if your lucky. :q: fuck.

I think they were my first DJ headphones actually in black. They are ok for the money but I would suggest saving up for something better still if u can!

Usually what happens in these threads is people listening to what someone wants then recommending something wildly over budget and ill suited to their needs. So I, er, never mind.

I can't use them till the 25th December when I get a mixer and some new headphones :(
I think im gonna go ahead and get a Numark M1 mixer for £50 and some £20 headphones - now for the wave of elitist comments!

If yer buying headphones for dJing then just make sure they are built well and durable - they really dont need to be top audiophile quality for mixing they just need to be almost indestructible ... think about the amount of times your take em on and of stick em in yer record bag, forget your wearing them and get yanked back to the decks as you walk away...
