we're putting up a studio, would be great if anyone could help in terms of cheapest places to buy online things like foam, absorvers, etc..

CCF, dobuild (on ebay), Travis Perkins etc for materials

^ Overpriced and under effective, especially at low freqs.

For the price of one of those kits you could practically do a whole room - 10x more effectively - if you DIY it. It's not hard either :)
