Not heard of many people who use this on here. Works like Logic as far as I know and the install is tiny. Very stable too.

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

That's pretty weird that it comes with Wasp XT and other VSTs from Image-Line and FL Studio. I just read up on it a bit and I guess there were developers from Image-Line who licensed VSTs to Synapse Audio prior to working for Image-Line and a developer working for Synapse Audio who licensed VSTs to Image-Line.

As far as I remember it is also free? (dont quote me on that tho). If I rememebr correctly you dont even need to install it, just run the .exe from any location.
It has some nice built in features and sounds good. Surprised I dont hear it mentioned more...

I got the impression that orion was like flstudio's retarded little brother. Ha jokes, seriously that is my impression, but it is based on a few screen shots
I do know that Dune sounds AAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Like seriously. I can't remember what their price was, but if it is reasonable, it is a serious contender with every other psycho vst synth out there. Really sounds
good.

Which one? I thought Orion was more like Logic tbh!

From the looks of the thing, its nothing like logic. I was looking on the update page posted above, but didnt find any similarities really. Only 3 insert slots??? Whats up with that! I also didnt like the idea of a semi-parametric eq on every channel by default. Seems silly to stick with fixed frequencies for the treble and bass. Although in my experience its trying to replicate some hardware consoles that have this, but in the digital realm, i think its pointless. The whole point of digital is its flexability

Tbh I have not really used it much. It seemed alright but I know my way around other DAWS better so I tend to use them more.

The centerpiece of its interface is a step sequencer, like fl, no? I watched a video a while ago, and that is what I saw, really did look like fl to me.
But seriously, check out dune. I sounds good. It's in that class of synths that sounds good. Some have features up the yazoo, some just sound good. This is the latter.

yup yup
I think it's kind of designed as a trance synth, but don't believe the hype.
