Anyone use any quality portable mp3 players?
I recently got a pair of Westone UM2 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Westone-UM2-Dri ... 083&sr=1-4 ) headphones for listening to music on the train but now need something to replace my Iphone for playing music!
I have been looking at the Sony Walkman NWZ-X1060B (High End X Series) but dont want to spend close to £300 if its shit!
Any advice?

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

i got a 2gb sony from argos a few months back for £30, pretty decent mp3 player
Re: Anyone use any quality portable mp3 players?
That is because you have not used anything better:Dcollige wrote:I've got a 120gb iPod Classic. No complaints.
Iphones/Ipods have the worst sound quality going. My Sony mobile phone that comes with a pair of £2.99 headphones sounds better!

I am thinking Sony. I have been very happy with their sound quality in the past!

They are not decent at all. The sound quality is appalling on both.wirez wrote:iPod Nano - decent.

I put them in the bin when I bought it. I were using a pair of Shure E2C before I got my Westone UM2.Depone wrote:

I plan to use them to monitor stuff on from now on. I hear so much more detail compared to my Alesis Monitor's and my mates KRK monitors.

I have a 120GB Zune. It's nice, but unfortunately Microsoft hasn't gotten them over to the UK yet.
