16BIT / Diversity / Dubstep Appreciation

Post by dirt » Wed Dec 16, 2009 1:16 pm

I recently came across two tracks by 16BIT that are both so heavy but so different from one another that I felt the need to share and discuss;

Moth

Can You Show Me What Head Is?

Now you couldn't get two songs more different if you tried! Both are amazing and its great to see such diversity.

It encapsulates what I love most about dubstep; the sheer range of production in the scene is amazing and suits every emotional state; from eyes down, to tear out, to minimal, to vocal its got so much to offer! So no more complaining about the stuff you don't like, there is so much out there, just listen to something else that you do like, its a wonderland of amazingness!

Happy Xmas one and all x

Definitely have the most respect for producers that aren't one trick ponies.
16bit has some incredible tunes and some not so great, but either way, they're top notch.

its gotta be "serum" at the moment! 16 bit have always been diverse, never stay in one place and they always seem to nail whatever style they're going for :z:

i have always liked 16bit....what i like about them most is the way they can just throw out chainsaw call. and then skyline..the diversity of there tunes shows a wide range of production talent and i think alot of producers shuld start learning from them and start thinking about there tunes a bit more.

big ups 16 bit

i listened to a getdarker interview with them and they were basically saying the reason they get such diversity with their tracks is because one of them loves melody and sweet sounding things and the other likes gritty bass heavy agro shit. so they combine and form a formidable duo.

Big Up 16bit!

Props on 'Jump' being used for the new Nike advert too!
