m-audio interface and vista 64bit problems

Post by knobby_roots » Tue Jan 05, 2010 5:16 pm

i have a windows vista 64-bit, i run it with an m-audio fast track pro, a novation launchpad, and a akai mpd32. Everything was running smoothly, until i installed the m-audio driver. Now it runs extremely slow, won't fully finish a defrag, or even a backup.

also, i got a warning that there was a graphics card detected, which i have no idea what that means.

has anyone had any similar problems? or know how or fix it? i cant even run ableton right now im freaking ouuuut :u:

my humble suggestion, Device Manager > Driver Roll Back

i've heard issues (not only personaly, but through work) about M-Audio's drivers,

Used to be that your machine wouldn't shutdown with the drivers installed..

Definatly take a look on m-audio's support tho because they do seem to discuss a lot of issues.
