Hopefully this mix gives a sense of a journey and I find it's best to change tempo/genre as the mix develops to achieve that. I think of this mix as playing out as a soundtrack to a movie and there's references to Japanese anime in the inclusion of stuff from Ghost in the Shell and Akira for example and the sci-fi soundscapes which I've tried to balance with track selection. And obviously it's full of fresh tunes too! I think the title is appropriate

i guess all this cinematic synthy stuff just makes me think of 80's sci-fi and watching Manga late at night on Channel 4.
