- KING MIDAS SOUND (LIVE) (Hyperdub)
Kevin (‘The Bug’) Martin’s new project, ‘King Midas Sound’, is regarded by many as the source of his finest material. Branded “a modern classic” by Boomkat.com, the eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Waiting For You’ dropped on Kode9’s Hyperdub imprint late last year. ‘KMS’ focus on the haunted and somnambulistic qualities of dub music conjuring up choking bass weight, filtered vocals, sirens and dark atmospheres from 6 feet below the rave. The live show is stupidly deep and features theatrical elements that make it an intoxicating, engaging and quite frankly unmissable experience!

A versatile producer and gifted DJ, Reso is gaining worldwide notoriety for his technoid inspired productions. His music often transcends the ‘dubstep’ tag that many have easily slotted him into with chugging metal guitars, pulsating techno echoes, and haunting, filtered sub bass. Reso's aural identity is a densely layered, high octane tapestry, rich with musical texture and colour.

- RAFFERTIE (Planet Mu)
Raffertie is a 21 year old DJ and producer whose innovative warped style has been causing quite a stir for the past couple of years. High energy, bass laden tunes are his speciality and his sets include everything from uplifting pop classics and 90’s rave anthems to house, garage, grime and dubstep. His sickening wonky basslines and original productions caught the attention of Mary Anne Hobbs who branded his distorted, devastating beats as “sick as they come”. With a debut album in the works and a string of releases on ‘Planet Mu’ Raffertie is set to blow in 2010!

- IKONIKA (Hyperdub)
Sara Abdel-Hamid's ‘Ikonika’ project fuses 8-bit machinations, overdriven synth arrangements and super heavy bass pads. Off beat drum patterns complete her off-kilter sound of which Kode9 (amongst others) is a big fan.

Subeena offers a unique take on ‘dubstep’ production. She combines elements of nu-Soul R'n'B, techno electronica and dubstep to create silky but heavy sound. Signed to the infamous ‘Planet Mu’ label she is without-doubt one of the scenes freshest talents.
