Get to the doctors as soon as possible, they should give you antibiotics. I had one recently and it was fucking horrendous.

Ive had loads of problems like this - I think its down to 'in ear' ipod headphones -
basically Ibuprofen will ease the swelling - other than that you have to wait to get antibiotics from the doc
When I went to see the ear nose throat hospital they said its very important NOT to get moisture inside the ear as it often reignites the problem
So take care when you shower - DONT stick you head under the water in a bath and change them headphones
My deepest sympathy - ear infections suck the devils slong

No need to go to the doctor.. your local pharmacist should have some eardrops.. he will probably tell you to give it 2 drops 3 times a day and give you a little toothpastelooking container of sticky eardrops.. nasty and greasy as fuck but it cures you in a day or something. Worked for me.

I would go to the doctors if it persists - there are many types of ear infections and I made my initial infection much worse by using the wrong type of ear drops as selected by a frankly disinterested chemist

Don't get ear drops. I was given ear drops first and my ear had swollen up so the ear drops didn't go all the way in and solidified in my ear and then leaked out at night. Basically, they did fuck all to help and just made it worse.

Thats what Im talking about -
Remember the ear is a delicate organ and you wouldnt stick stuff willy nilly in your eyes for example would you?
The Ear Nose and Throat doctor I saw was great (I love the NHS) and my ears are much better now. Doctors are there to help
Also they will prolly test your ears when you go in - I found out my hearing is slightly rightsided and that was interesting to know - apparently everyone has a slightly different stereo balance and its yer brain that EQs the shit together

I've had this problem all my adult life, here's what I do.
Take a hot, hot shower.
Using your index and middle finger, rub from the back of your ear down your jawline.
Should clear you up in half an hour or so. You've just got to clear the tube that drains into your neck hole.
Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.
