What happened to Burial? Where did he go?

Well, i dont know if this is way of.. I've heard a lot of people asking what happened to burial, so i search the forum, but couldn't find any vallid information or threads.

He hasn't updated his facebook page since september 2008, and as far as i know, his latest track was 'Be True' from 2008..
Anyone who knows anything? Is he dead, making music under a new name, or simple stopped producing?

I just started listening to his music after 5 years of hyperdub went out, so maybe i'm just a bit behind..

Well anyway - anyone else wonder were he went?

you didn't search hard enough mate. But I don't want to be an ass like some others on here so I'll help you out :

Collab with Four tet to start with. Furthermore :

Yes he is still producing, a new album should be out on hyperdub in the future (this year? I have my doubts).
He might also be doing a remix album for the forthcoming massive attack album. Again this year? probably not.
There was some new material from him out as well which can be checked in some podcast (forgot which, I'm sure it's on here though).
Maybe someone else knows the details? Ghosts podcast was it?

There are also two snippets on youtube from tracks claimed to be on the forthcoming album (search youtube).

I'm probably missing some other stuff : in short : he's not dead. He's alive and kicking.

he is also supposed to have collaborated with loefah,
its meant to get released on swamp 81. loefah said it would come out last year but there hasnt been anymore news so it may well just not happen

Not suprised he's biding his time to be honest, after how massive he suddenly was, it would be a huge let down if what ever his pulls out next isn't gold dust. also shows that he isn't just gonna jump on the "i'm prtty big now so lets cash in" band wagon. which i have an epic amount of respect for!

Apparently he has collaborated with quite a few people but he never finishes the track or is never pleased or something? Might be wrong. Kode9 is blatantly sitting on a pile of Exclusive Burial tracks.
