Phoenix, Arizona’s UltraBlack continue to destroy dancefloors and pump out gratifying tunes since their foray into Dubstep in 2007 with their roots of DnB and Hip Hop influencing their endeavors. True to being original their sound is sometimes experimental and cathartic while performing and creating top selections that never disappoint ripe crowds. They have played alongside artists such as Borgore, 12th Planet, Evol Intent, PlanetOfTheDrums and Mala and released on several labels from the UK, Romania, Canada, the U.S., and more.

As some of you may know, we recently have had some negative fallout from a performance by Adroit (one member of UltraBlack) in Portland, OR. We would like to start off by apologizing to the attendees and promoters of the Venue, as well as Phantom Records. We (Ultrablack) take fan support seriously, and understand you pay your hard earned money to see us perform live.

I am currently in talks with the promoters of the region to schedule a make up show, this time ensuring that a good impression is left behind with our fans, and to continue the quality performances and production that the Ultrablack crew is known for. Our sincerest apologies to our friends in the Northwest if we let you down, it’s our #1 priority to make it up to you.

We would also like to go on to say that the incident was *not* due to any intoxication of any type, in fact more the contrary. One half of the Ultrablack crew, has been dealing with extreme exhaustion due to the scheduling and demands of a performing artist. As a result, will be taking some time off in order to get both much needed rest and to gain a fresh perspective on the future. This is a very real situation, and we ask that you respect his privacy as well as provide any support you can both to him and the Ultrablack family during this time.

It’s a goal moving forward to shape the UB name in a more positive direction. We will be looking at this incident in hopes to find a clean start for both our name and sound. This also means any new collaborations to the group will be held to a higher professional standard than before. Again- we ask at this time for your support, while extending an apology for anyone affected by this incident.
Sincerely,

Nick Suddarth (TheOneSpy) – Ultrablack

People threw things at you because they came to pay money for your sorry ass. I could have paid the most incompetent person who has never touched a set of decks, drunk on a gallon of whiskey and told them to mix with there ass cheeks, and they would have held it down better than you did. I cant even listen to an ultrablack tune now you suck that bad. You are a clown, a wanker and had no business flying into our city and performing like that. Your lucky I pulled you off the stage because you were about to get lynched by an angry crowd. And instead of investigating all this bullshit, why dont you give us back the plane ticket money we flew you out here with. Your lucky i didn't just leave your sorry ass on the street. You should prolly just crawl under a rock cuz you ruined your name.
