Since starting his musical journey as a UK Garage MC then moving into production, ROSKA, has certainly come along way and is regarded by many as the top UK Funky/House producer. Recently remixing for the likes of Four Tet, Zed Bias, Martyn, Untold and Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound record label Roska is one of the busiest and most in demand producers on the scene, and with his debut album dropping soon on the Rinse label this London lad is set to go from strength to strength.
Also on the line up we welcome SHORTSTUFF to Tropical, making his Leeds debut! Ever since sharing his very first release on Berkane Sol with long time friend and label co-owner, Brackles, Shortstuff is at the forefront of the new "What You Call It?!" Bass music - blending together the sounds of Dubstep, UK Funky, House, Garage and Grime.
Tropical is pleased to bring you another Leeds debut from up & coming talent DOC DANEEKA who was named by FACT Magazine as one of their top 10 producers to watch in 2010. Currently occupying the grounds in between Broken Beat, House and Dubstep his tunes have been endorsed by the likes of Marcus Nasty, Giles Peterson, Oneman & Kode 9. Trust me this boy will tear the roof off Wire!!
