Hey all,

this is a recording taken from a broadcast on Spin South West FM a few weeks ago...

basically it was a show to promote a local night I'm involved in - Nu Killa Beats. The 10th B-Day Party (and last ever gig!) took place last Saturday the 6th of March.

I tried to sum up the vibe of the night but also pick some of my own personal favourites - it's kind of a history of D&B and the night all in one (or something?!)

We (myself, Mecca, Deep Cut, Roller T, Bee, Leon, The Evil Grin) were all at Spin South West FM's studios for part 2 of a special series of broadcasts to mark the Nu Killa Beats 10th B-Day Bash (and last ever gig under that name in Limerick). The gig took place last Saturday the 6th of March and this show was recorded the Saturday before that.

Listing "title" artist - label is confusing... its also hard to search for the tunes layed out "title" - artist - label

Removing the "qoutes" and switching to artist first, then title - label makes things much easier for people to read.

I should add that I am a long time DJ. I used to list the same way [artist][title][label] and i did it for personal reasons. It was my way of trying to draw attention to the music 1st, then the artist. I realized that people are going to think what they want about the music regardless of how I list it in my tracklisting. It was my job as a saleman and DJ to make it as easy as poss for my audience/ customer to find and buy that music. As a dj I was including tracklistings for people so that they could find and buy music. Why make it harder for these customers/ listeners to do that ? Its all good

I'd also like to add that Subtle Audio is a "buy on sight" label for me. 100 % garuntee world class music every single time.

Hehe - I know man it would be much easier to read if I listed it ARTIST - TITLE - LABEL.

The reason I don't do it (for these shows) is that I have to do official playlists for the radio station to send to the royalty collection agencies and this is the format they use...
It's already a serious time doing the tracklistings and uploading the mp3's etc that I barely get time for as it is, so I just decided not to bother re-formatting the tracklistings for the forums (even though it's annoying!)
