Need some help; producing dubby bass in Reason...
Hey yall.
I've been using reason for years, but I can't fully figure out how to get the wobble right in subtractor.
I'm using reason 3. Could anyone create a patch or a combinator and send it to me that accurately demonstrates how to create a grimey bass sound that wobbles?
I would really really appreciate it!

Yeah lik I know synth wobble right, but what im lookin for is more of a low wobble, shit like in Mathhead and Vex'd. I can't full grapple how they automate the wobble and what it's linked to, it's filter yeah?FullyRecordingz wrote:u get me fam.... dats wut I've always thought... man come like santa lolParson wrote:fully yr like jesus

seen u need to kno how to automate things? dats easy to explain.
In Subtractor, set ur LFO1 to SYNC, coz dats basic, and send the LFO to Filter.
Open your Sequencer window, it has little buttons up the top, find the little blue one called "Controllers", click on dddat, set it to "show Controllers in Track" so u can see wat ur automating. scoll down to "LFO1 Rate" so u have control over dat. have fun & play about with drawing in the ting(WHO SAID REASON IS LIKE FISHERPRICE TOYS??lol. you pancake)
now watch ur synth wobble. u can tune the Amount u want it to. and the Waveform. just muck about with all the little fiddly tings to get it how u want it.
kool
