Sounds like you have an alchohol problem, whether you rely on it is a bit of a different matter. Can you stop drinking if you try?

yeah, ive mostly stopped drinking, ill have a beer maybe when im playing, thats it. but over the past 8-10 months ive found i just get super depressed after a night of drinking, i mean its bad. some of the worst times ive ever had (mentally, emotionally) happened about 6 months ago, and i just decided getting drunk isnt for me. kinda sucks, but sucks even worse if i keep drinking.

im by no means afraid im an alcoholic, i would only maybe drink every other week at most, but i can still relate to the depressed feelings.

try stopping drinking altogether, i used to love getting drunk, but i found when i stopped, i didnt really miss it as much as i thought i would.

Well it is said that a person has a substance abuse problem when it starts interfering with their everyday life.

you know you can party a LOT harder if you don't drink

you don't tend to fade as quick. also you have heaps more chance of making conversation with nice ladies

i have been going out and not drinking at all lately and its going well

ladies seem to really dig it, like you're some kind of athlete or something, when they notice that you're not drinking alcohol

True though eh. Most people I know drink everyday even if only a couple of cans or glasses of their favorite tipple, but it still adds up over the week to be over the recommended allowance. My mum and dad are particularly bad they go through a couple of bottles of whiskey a week and don't see it as a problem at all.

Just because someone is in America doesn't mean they drink American beer.
They probably chill it though. :P
