Help Save Plastic People!
Help Save Plastic People!
You are very possibly aware that legendary Shoreditch night club Plastic People is currently under threat from a licensing review.
In the worst case scenario this could force the club to be permanently closed.
Now, it is unlikely that Dubstepforum users need telling that this club was instrumental in the development of the dubstep sound and continues to be a vital and necessary home to a variety of cutting edge music, with a soundsystem seldom bettered anywhere in the world. Many of you may have been lucky enough to experience this first hand.
It is imperative that this club does not close and that dubstep fans, and the music world at large, let the authorities know that the unsubstantiated allegations against it are false and that this club is of great cultural importance and one of the most friendly and down to earth venues you're ever likely to go to.
This is about more than a just a night club, this is about maintaining London's greatest dance music venue.
Dubstepforum invites you to help by signing the petition against its closure:
