looking for mastering guide
I can't recall on which website i found it, but some of you probably know what i am looking for.
there is a free online course covering mastering basics, does anyone know where to find it? forgot to add it to favourites, meh

tbh... it wont be worth it. the most valuable information is just watching an ME (mastering engineer) do his thing. also there is a fantastic book called "mastering audio" written by the ledge Bob Katz. that will see you further than any online course.Freshman wrote:I can't recall on which website i found it, but some of you probably know what i am looking for.

or pay soneone 15 quid to do it with full outboard kit etc. then try and get similar results. it can help knowing how it can sound in the hands of a professional, as a benchmark,

but that's still guessing how things were done. i want to read up on why things are done (theory) not how, i can figure that out myself i think.. but thanks!

one thing i learned here on DSF is: do a good mixup, EQ as good as possible - and your track will sound well produced
