The Peverelist is here, at the B.LOW. The man behind the unmistakable Punch Drunk record imprint and co-runner of Rooted Records shop, Bristol, UK. And of course an absolute killer producer, with his immense versitility and style of new form dubstep sounds - this ones gonna roll deep coming from a man from at the very heart of the UK scene! His recent Jarvik Mindstate LP has left serious ripples in the pool of future dub music adding to a back catalogue of amazingly forward thinking bass driven goodness. Check!!
Ikkaku was born in Italy and raised in Brussels, one of the hotspots for techno in Europe during the 90s. Although his roots are deep into Detroit Techno he lately found out that the limits between some variations of dubstep and his beloved techno are very blurry and started experimenting with these limits themselves.
The result is deep, soulful music that can be found out in his techno label micropunto schallplatten or in a dubstep release on DubKraft records. He is now touring around to present his latest EP on Micropunto while awaiting the release of his new dubstep experimentation forthcoming on Corsario Riddims.
