V.I.V.E.K appreciation!

Post by skitz_0 » Sun Apr 18, 2010 2:22 pm

:e:

this man has TUNES.

i've rinsed the hell out of medi023 since it came out, now i'm just patiently waiting for a new release; any news on one? i've heard a few tracks of his on the anti social show on rinse and really, really dig them.

read in the Resident Advisor interview with Mala that there's going to be quite some V.I.V.E.K. releases on deep medi in 2010 :)

I've been saying this for ages, Vivek is one of my favourite producers, haven't heard a bad tune yet.
In the last 2 years he has made some serious tracks. Music for the dance I say.
These 3 tracks are sick:

Also this mix:

yea v.i.v.e.k is heavy. His 1st release on deep medi wasn't all that in my opinion but some of the other tunes i've heard are massive, motherland being a prime example.

well big up you for comin down !!

had bout 50 people come thru the door - casbah really really really aint the venue for it tho unfortunately... booked vivek for a bassweight carnival but couldnt have yellow arch in the end but decided to keep the booking anyway ... his set was one of the best i've heard no doubt.
