Re: RANE TTM 68 vs PIONEER DJM 800
I've not used it but I would love to have one. I world imagine it is constructed and sounds far better and generally a little bit better quality than a pioneer but I can't promise that. The Rane faders are also stunning if you're into the turntablism side of things but if not it's probably neither here or there.
The things with the six-eight is that you're not just paying for a mixer, you're paying for the seemless serato integration and the ability to use 4 decks with serato, if you don't use and don't plan on using serato then this mixer would probably be a bit of a waste of money, if you do use serato then I doubt there's anything better.

Rane is 100x better than Pioneer.grubstep wrote:anyone used the 68? Is it worth the extra money?
Hands down, no questions asked.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

TT68 if you want serato and 4 deck madness. otherwise I'd choose an A&H xone92 if you want the performance of a club mixer.
many people find this offensive but pioneer don't cut it for me when it comes to sound quality. although if you want FX then yeah djm800.
A&H 92 + pioneer efx machine would be what I'd go for.
