New Zealand dubstep
So I'm about to search for that other NZ dubstep thread but figured hell, the producers I have heard from that scene are absolutely top quality, making some of the most cosmic, atmospheric, and otherworldly vibes I've ever heard:
Optimus Gryme is easily one of my favorite dubstep producers, for this song alone. The stuff I checked out in that other NZ dubstep thread when it was originally posted was mint as well, but I'm curious really just to what the scene is like down there? I'd assume Optimus is one of the biggest producers of the scene, but who else should I check out for some of the more cosmic, spacious vibes? Any new producers worth checking out since that other NZ thread was posted? There's definetly something in the water down there, and lot of my favorite rock groups are from NZ (Bailter Space, for one!)...seems everything that comes from there is amazing.
Just wanted to show some love, these producers deserve the recognition!

Sick thread, Proud to be a new zealander
Upbeats are dnb producers but they made a Dubstep track on their latest album which is killer
Also check Crushington, hes up and coming and has some sick dubstep tracks featuring Black Sun Empire. got some good vibes in his track

Fat Freddy's Drop are ill as fuck, for any genre - so what if they're not technically Dubstep per se? If it's good enough for Digital Mystikz to remix...

I'm more a Revelations kind of guy, but Fatman and STolen children are also very good. Really like Truth, love their sets - I just hate how many rewinds they'll do live (6 at last count when they were last in Sydney). The history of the group is also very interesting. They rose to prominence almost by chance alonetripwire22 wrote:right on. its all about Fatman and Stolen Children
