this is a project set up by some students and is a feild recording project of sounds of the urban environment. if you have a soundcloud account please follow.
we are uploading content all the time, samples, loops, tracks, and various materials for people to download and make into new music. all the sounds are recorded outside and contain various sounds of the city scape. everyone is invited to take them, make new tracks, then upload the finished tracks onto the page via the dropbox.
you are of course welcome to submit your own sounds too.
its basically a community based sound sharing project, based around aesthetic ideas of musique concrete, plus experimental ideas like microsound, granular synthesis and generative music, but you can treat it however you want. get involved.
no rights are reserved because we are not going to sell anything, its basically serious fun innit.
