Where should DMZ move?

Post by pete_bubonic » Mon Jan 30, 2006 5:43 pm

So, If 3rd Bass is now too small for the DMZ crowd (and it was at the last one), where would you want to see it next?

Obviously gotta be London, but to be honest I'm a bit out of touch with the best clubs in London...

What would be your suggestion, I don't want to see Fabric and the Hippodrome suggested!!!

What about The End? Big rig and lots of space....

dmz shouldn't move anywhere for a little while yet. a packed club is a good club. but my dancing feet tell me other things.

it needs a country wide tour inbetween the main nites in brixton. maybe grabbin a local dj from that area for a set. surrey, hampshire, then up north etc... would b nice to spread the word.

Why is it too small? Why should it necessrily move, the best clubs have always been roadblocks?

The End sound is fairly weighty but doesn't really have that warm feel, its kind of a crisp house system. Capacity there is 900, is that much more than 3rd Base?

Not sure where else...

Not cussing down 3rd base at all, all the dmz's I have been to were fucking rocking. Thought it might be worth moving for 2 reasons:

1 - You don't wanna turn heads away! If more than club capacity wants to come it means you turn heads away. And that's no fun for anyone involved.

2 - More selfish, but it's always nice to have a bit of room on the dancefloor, to rock about with pints and that :D

( and 3 - Bigger club would mind bigger soundsytem and that can only be a good thing :D )

The end??? No chance. That would ruin DMZ - wanky bouncers, wanky drink prices, wanky club. DMZ is perfect where it is.
