After the much acclaimed first release on version by Timeblind, VERSION002 features 2 mesmerizing 808 workouts from label boss Orson himself. Madness’ opens on a atmospheric tip only to switch into eruptive wall shaking subs and syncopated percussions. ? 808 dub? on the flip is a swinging late night groove with swirling fragments of Dub and Jungle echoing in and out of the mix. He has been one of the pioneers to push the blossoming sound of Dubstep outside of the Uk from early on. hes been running his version events since 2005 with guests like Digital Mystikz, Skream, Loefah, Kode 9, Benny Ill and many more. Orson is known for his exclusive upfront dubplate selection and has played at such legendary events as the mighty ‘Dmz’ dance in Brixton in early 2008 and 2009, the ‘Big Apple Records’ Christmas party and at ‘Dubwar’ in New York. The future looks promising for Orson’s productions, he has been busy in his own studio aswell as working on beats with the likes of Benny Ill of Horsepower Productions (one collabo tune will be out on Tempa very soon), Mala from Digital Mystikz and Sgt Pokes.
