Are they MAD?

Post by ZvchBlvck » Mon Jun 07, 2010 12:17 am

Magnetic Man - MAD

Is it just me or does this completely blow. I mean i do like the synth lead in the begining. But besides that i think its rubbish. If i would of made this it would of totally got overlooked but the almighty skream & benga made this so it gets recognition. What are your opinions?

It does have a bit of weight to it which i like

but the synth is a bit cheese

still not a shit tune by any stretch of the imagination

And does price really have any efect on production value (ex. Mt eden). I am not gonna lie it probably hits hard in the club though

Dunno what I'm doing wrong but it's by Skream, Benga and Artwork so OBVIOUSLY it should sound amazing?

1. Every music sounds great on big speakers. Just try it and see.
2. YES, depending on who made the track, people will talk about it differently. It's a psyhological effect, can't get rid of it.

I don't think the fact that it was given away for free should have any bearing on whether its quality is up for discussion. It's not a great tune, I don't think it being Skream, Benga and Artwork will "Add value" to it, but i would expect better.

yeah they gave it away for free, i would perfer to buy a tune that was of a better quality though surely?

and as for all tunes sound good on a big system, thats bullshit, few people can make basslines and master there tunes to the extent that itll sound amazing on a system,
would perfer to hear takin the piss by funtcase on my speakers at home than in a club, mastering is horrible
