Subdub last night...

Post by noam » Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:44 am

Mala played one of the sickest sets ive pretty much heard

im always careful about overpraising him when i chat about him cos it gets silly the amount of arselicking that gets done, but that set last night absolutely blew me away

nice one Mala

Absolutely gutted I missed him. So annoying when they don't put the set times up. Still an awesome night though.

Well, I would have thought that everybody knew by now that in the back room at SubDub we virtually always have residents Earthpipe and Exodus playing the first two hours and then Steppa the last hour, so that only leaves the time between midnight and 4am for the other guests. Mala was on at midnight. But you always need to get down to SubDub early because there's always too much good stuff going on.

Ye completely agree, probably the best I've ever seen him play.

Anyone know what his last tune was???? Pretty sure it was Coki, but don't know which one.

Yes, 18 and over only.

We have got to try and stop the place getting so full, so ID is checked and even if you've got some sort of ID and a ticket but don't look 18 then you won't be allowed in, sorry.

A passport, driving licence, bank or credit cards are all valid forms of ID, using your older brother or sisters ain't.

.
Was there from 9:50 queueing with mates who didn't get tickets! So what I am supposed to wait around in the small room for mala? Not too much trouble to print out a few bits of paper with set times on for the money tickets cost.

If you had looked, as you walked in by the front door, on the desk next to the earplugs there was a load of these on bits of paper:

SUBDUB-05/06/10 SET TIMES

ROOM 2:
10:00-11:00 EARTHPIPE
11:00-12:00 EXODUS
12:00-01:00 MALA
01:00-02:00 SHOCK
02:00-03:00 SHY FX
03:00-04:00 STEPPA
04:00-05:00 PROPHECY

Look, I'm sorry but we can't spoon feed you all, you've got to use your initiative and ask someone if you can't see the information that you want.
