Music is a part of our culture. Fashion is also a part of our culture. Music, art and fashion go hand in hand. To try and separate music from everything else is crazy. As a musician, sales of fashion (hats, shirts, pins, stickers, coats, pants, shorts, etc, etc) is critical so surviving on the road. Music is an integral part of fashion. Fashion without music would not be fashion. Can you imagine a fashion show without music ? what do you see when you goto the club for a show ? Everyone is dressed to the T. Fashion/ Music exist together.

My name is simply a working title for this forum. It's not my online alias or anything like that.
As soon as I get a permanent producing name I'll change it.

Back on topic, what I'm really getting at is the Jack Wills gang jumping on the Dubstep bandwagon after typing 'Dubstep' into youtube and hearing Mt. Eden, Seirra Leon. It just grinds my gears how they all asociate themselves with Dubstep when we're the ones who have listened to it from day one, slaved over our PCs to make the music, ect.

That's all. Any more comments?

is it really enough to just make a facebook group with a clever name? Your picture is a question mark (i.e. empty). At least post some pictures of these people or do SOMETHING. you're not showing much initiative, old boy. if you're gonng hate, at least put some effort into it. :u:

They've officially dropped the Dubstep part.....according to my question that got answered on the thread where the DJ from Mt Eden was ''supposedly'' answering questions.

Had a sneaky suspicion you were going to get rinsed....

Your views are in the right place.. if you really don't think its a fashion statement the best way to express it is not to express your distaste at all.... ignore all the so called 'brosters' 'scenesters' band wagon jumpers' whatever... just keep your head down keep moving forward

This is a kid who started a thread about how to make 'the filthiest most disgusting bass YAYAYAYA' sound in the production forum only a few months ago and is now pretending like he hates it. Either a troll, or a tnuc.
