DMZ records, still fresh today.

Post by serox » Thu Jun 17, 2010 4:20 pm

Is it me or do DMZ records get better the more you listen and the more you learn about making music? they were ahead of the game without a doubt.

Mala's stuff all fits so well together and I think that was because he was using like 1 or 2 synth for all his sounds (reason 3 I think?) it all sounds so well crafted and so musical! and the rhythm those 3 guys had is what really stands out and makes you want to tap your foot whenever you hear anything they have made.

Not saying they never used any preset sounds but you dont hear that VST preset thing with their music like you do with some artists. Even their early and unreleased stuff that some people may say is maybe lacking in production, still sounds wicked because it has a groove and an atmosphere!

2004 to 2006, hands down the best years for Dubstep if you ask me.

:z:
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Seriously though. I don't understand dubstep which doesn't the wobble. And Mala doesn't, so what I'm saying is who are you to ask who is Mala? I mean, you gots to say who are you first. Are you a sheep?
