Drumstep and Liquid Drumstep

it's basically dubstep faster but it's dope, it's got a different vibe, and crowds are wildin' out for it no matter how mad the internet is about it. the doa attitude is over.

:roll: most of the artists who are cited as being the bigger names in "Drumstep: are dnb producers who started making dubstep now combined the two
the sound was around long before this term and before dubstep, just nowhere near as popular back then or prolific

coming from the perspective of an active club scene that involves every type of bass music going right now, drumstep is hitting real hard.

no.. it is half step DnB, or 175bpm Dubstep. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NI2b7qXUlnE is a good example as well as the tune I posted earlier.

this has been around for time, this is just drum n bass,

bare popular straighout d n b artists do it, hazard, original sin, taxman etc.. jst half step, some fat tunes though.

sub genres are there just as descriptive terms. Someone says to you that so and so just made a new Drumstep tune, then you know what it is. Saying "Drumstep" is easier than saying half speed DnB or 175bpm Dubstep. no?
